When you make the charitable download for $1 or more (under $20), please enjoy a complimentary download of Nicole's melodious song 'Sweet Moonlight Rush'.
Nicole wishes to deeply thank all who donate and enjoy her songs.
She says: Often when I see what's going on in the media or in the news I want to scream about the pain being caused.
There is every reason to shout and be outraged at the sexual violence that affects us all.
I am outraged!
However, I try to remember, that, in the end, once the criminals are out-shouted by objectors and shut up - there are still victims whose voices need to be heard. I want to help the world focus more on helping victims and healing survivors.
In my life, I don't see screaming as productive but find that singing is one of the most helpful and wonderful things that I can do. Music can and should be used as an instrument of peace.
It is with the above in mind that I have developed this fundraiser as way to combine my two passions, singing and helping to heal women and children who have experienced sexual violence
There are long wait-lists for private counseling at the SASC in Waterloo Region. Will you please help?
When you download my song 'Ninth Madder Dream' on bandcamp for $1 or more all proceeds go the SASC. Let's help people heal!
A video for the song is coming in fall 2013 from Big Shave Productions; please subscribe to the youtube channel: www.youtube.com/nicoleaubeofficial
